Ingredients for Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies:

  • 17 teaspoon peanut butter
  • ½ cup butter (110g)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • Brown sugar
  • ¼ cup caster sugar (60g)
  • 1 egg (medium/small)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (180g)
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder (40g)
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup chocolate chips (60g)

Directions to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookies:

  • On a tray add 17 teaspoon peanut butter with a spoon.

  • Put in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • Take a medium-sized bowl, add 1/2 cup unsalted butter.
  • Add 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract.
  • Next, add 1/2 cup brown sugar.
  • Add 1/4 cup caster sugar.
  • Now mix well, make it a smooth batter.
  • Add an egg to the batter and mix well till well combined.

  • Take another bowl, add 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup cocoa powder, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, and salt for flavor.

  • Now pour the mixture into the previously created batter and mix well.

  • Add 1/3 cup chocolate chips and mix well.
  • If you do it right, you’ll see a thick but not too sticky dough.
  • Cover the bowl with a plastic wrapper, put it in the freezer for 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes, take it out of the freezer.
  • Take a scoop and scoop the dough with a 5cm scooper.
  • Flatten into a circle and place in the center one frozen peanut butter scoop.
  • Now fold the edges around the stuffing and roll into a ball.

  • Bake in preheated oven at 180°C for 9 minutes.
  • When still hot place some chocolate chips on the top and let it rest for 5-10 minutes.
